Sherry Lynn Stoner

August 17, 1958 — September 25, 2019

Sherry L. Stoner, 61, of Pendleton passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Pendleton.She was born August 17, 1958 in Anderson, the daughter of J. Laurel and Betty (Allford) Stoner. She graduated from Pendleton Heights High School and worked at Wood’s Wire, Sally Mae and Wal-Mart. She also worked with traffic control for Pendleton Heights High School sporting events. She was a member of Pendleton Christian Church. Sherry will always be remembered for her big smile and positive attitude.She is survived by her sisters, Debbie (Steve Hellems) Stoner and Diana (Bruce) Dickerson; nephews, Aaron (Lisa) Dickerson, Andrew (Andrea) Dickerson, Brett (Misty) Clarkson and Brady Clarkson; four great nieces; and two great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sidney L. Stoner.The family would like to give special thanks to her friends and neighbors at Ashbury Pointe and her loving caregivers, Kylie and Lori. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory – Lahm Chapel with Rev. Claude Creel officiating. Private family burial will be at Mendon Cemetery.Vistiation will be 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Pendleton Ambulance or the Pendleton Fire Department, to whom Debbie and Diana would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks.
