Shawn Michael Parks

Shawn Michael Parks, 48, of Anderson, IN passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2022 at Community Hospital. Shawn was born on June 16, 1973 in Anderson to Lacinda Swinford. He was a laborer for many years. Shawn loved being outdoors and playing sports. Some of his favorite things were riding dirt bikes and bicycling. Shawn’s mom wanted everyone to know how special of a son he was. He will be missed by so many.

Shawn will be especially missed by his mother, Lacinda; his brother, Raymond (Tiffany Miller) Parks; his sister, Stacey Parks; his special uncle, Richard Swinford; his nieces and nephews, Amber Adams, Jada Adams, Ryan Adams, Aries Parks, and Aaron Parks; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Huntsville Cemetery.
