Shawn Edward Duncan

Shawn Edward Duncan, 24, Lapel, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born on January 16, 1992, in Noblesville, Indiana to John and Karen (Olson) Duncan.

Shawn was an entrepreneur and real estate investor also at one time he had his own landscaping company.

From a young age, Shawn was a man of great faith who exhibited that faith in his daily walk with God.

He was a member of the men's bible study group at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel as well as several business club memberships.

He is survived by his wife, Courtney (Maertin) Duncan; his father and step-mother John and Cynthia Duncan of Carmel; his mother, Karen (Olson) Duncan; two sisters, Tiffany Midkiff of Fishers and Janee Duncan; one nephew, Isaac; and niece, Julianna.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel with Pastor Dewey Miller officiating.

There will be no visitation.
