Sharon M. Wales

Sharon M. Wales, 89, of Greenfield, formerly of Wilkinson passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at  Cypress Run- Morristown Manor in Morristown.

She was born May 7,1934 in Hancock County, the daughter of the late Oak and Lois (Bolander) Snider.

Sharon graduated from Wilkinson High School and then married the love of her life Ralph. She worked for the Eastern Hancock School System in the cafeteria for many years.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, basketball, cards, and puzzles, but her real love was spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children; Dennis (Jill) Wales of Wilkinson, daughters; Debbie (Bill) Bolander of New Palestine, Darla (Bob) Miller of New Castle, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, siblings; Charlotte Melton, Bonnie Pritchard, Steve Snider, Phil Snider and Chris Snider.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Ralph, daughter; Deanna Chance, grandson; Cory Butcher great grandson; Carter Gorth, granddaughter; Sara Chance and son-in-law; Chuck Butcher, brothers; Floyd, Guy, and Ivan Snider

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson, with Mary Nolan officiating.  Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. prior to service at 6:00.  Burial will be at a later date at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
