Sharon K. Howell

Sharon K. Howell, 65, Lapel, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on April 2, 1940, in Anderson, Indiana to Hubert and Audrey (Tinsley) Cox. She retired in 1993 from Guide Division of GM and was a member of the UAW local 663. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Howell; three children, Kathleen (husband, Bryon) Meyer of Carmel, Thomas Howell of Lapel, and Brian (wife, Christie) Howell of Lapel; three brothers, Hubert (wife, Elsa) Cox, Jr. of Brawley, CA, Harry Cox of Anderson, and Ronald (wife, Sharon) Cox of Anderson; five grandchildren, Valerie Howell, Ian Howell, Eric Meyer, Kevin Meyer, and Dylan Meyer; and one great granddaughter, Zoe Aspen Spitz. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
