Sharon Hawkey

Sharon L. Hawkey, 75, of Anderson, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St, Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

She was born on June 3, 1940 in Anderson to the late Donald and Mary Maxine (Wilson) Roush.

Sharon is survived by her four sons, Jerry (Debbie) Thompson, Jeffery (Joy) Thompson, Gregory (Leona) Thompson and Timothy (Aimee) Thompson; six granddaughters, Kari (Marty), Kelli, Andrea (Chad), Stephanie, Dorian and Elizabeth; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Elaina, McKenzie and Austin; her sister, Sue (Stanley) Boram; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by a special friend, Joe Branch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Hawkey who passed away in 1988.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Mike Whiteman officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 Tuesday at the funeral home.
