Scott L. Davis

COLUMBIA CITY- former Pendleton resident, Scott L. Davis, 34, passed away unexpectedly June 28, 2021 in Columbia City.He was born November 4, 1986 in Anderson, Indiana. Scott graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 2005 and attended the University of Southern Indiana. Scott began his career in the steel industry in 2007 when he and his high school sweetheart, Ashbie, moved to Evansville, Indiana and he began working for Patriot Steel. In 2011, Scott and his wife Ashbie moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he continued his career in the steel industry, working for Triad Metals International. Scott & Ashbie bought their lake home on Shriner Lake in Columbia City in 2018. Scott loved the lake, and boating was truly his favorite past time along with traveling. Scott loved all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Reds & NASCAR. Survivors include his beloved wife, Ashbie L. (Bennett) Davis; fur babies, Bebe and Bella; parents, Kerry and Tracey (Salyer) Davis of Pendleton; brother, Shane (Melissa) Davis of Pendleton; two nephews, Ryan Davis and Liam Davis; grandmothers, Cora Salyer and Frances Davis both of Anderson; parents-in-law, Joe and Jill Bennett of Fishers; brother-in-law, Bryce Bennett of Indianapolis; grandparents-in-law, Larry and Sarah Adams of Fort Myers Beach, Florida; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Frank Davis and Kelly Salyer; and grandparents-in-law, Jack and Mary Bennett.Visitation will be held from 3pm to 8 pm, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.Additional visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12pm, officiated by family friend, Brian Wilson. Following the graveside service, a celebration will be held at the Callahan Wilson residence.Scott would appreciate casual attire at all gatherings.
