Mr. Scott H. Presser

I passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 after complications of a stroke. I just celebrated my 57th birthday on December 11, 1963. I graduated from Highland High School in 1983, where I had been assistant student manager of the Basketball & Football teams. Prior to that I enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts and looked forward to our excursions including camping in Canada. After retiring from Fort Ben’s finance center, I spent time reading my bible, doing puzzles, and loved playing video games. If I wasn’t watching Andy Griffith, the best show ever, I watched sports. I loved to cheer on Tampa Bay but enjoyed all sports. I am survived by my loving parents, William H. & Martha “Sue” (Pate) Presser; my siblings, Andrea “Ann” Presser & Charles “Chuck” (Trish Gammon) Presser; uncle, Robert Pate; nephews, William Madison (wife, Tiara) Presser & Brayden William Presser; great niece, Amelia Presser; cousins, Nikki Pate Scott, Kristin Pate, Jared Scott, Jeff & Jody Jamerson. I have been reunited with my grandparents, Henry & Mildred Pate and Harold & Ruby Presser. Thank you, Mom & Dad, for bringing me treats. Please know that I am getting all the coffee I want. I deeply appreciated the love and care that all the staff at Lindberg Crossing has shown me these last ten years. I will miss each and every one of you; friends, family, and care takers. With all my love, Scottie, The Gentle Giant Services will be at noon Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Due to recent Covid-19 mandates, the family is requesting all guests are to wear face coverings or mask, and practice social distancing at visitation and service.
