Scott E. Miller

Scott E. Miller, 43, of Anderson, passed away April 22, 2015at St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

Scott was born, in Anderson on April 14, 1972, the son of Ronald Miller and Carol (Bergdahl) Strough.

Scott was a loving, kind heart person, who enjoyed listening to music, going to amusement parks and just being with family. He was a graduate of Highland High School’s special needs program. He attended New Horizons United Methodist Church and Sarah Care of Indianapolis.

He is survived by his parents, Carol and Robert Strough of Anderson, and his sisters, Barbara Vanderwagen of Sheridan, IL, Kimberly Wingo of Shelbyville, and Beverly Burns of Marysville, MI; his uncle, Richard (Margaret) Bergdahl of Lafayette; his cousin, Becky Stucky of Lafayette; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Miller, and his grandparents, Eric and Esther Bergdahl and Basil and Marie Strough.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the New Horizon United Methodist Church with Pastor Gina Kirkland officiating. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
