Sarilda E. Hooper

Sarilda E. Hooper, age 91, died on Saturday August 21, 2004 at the Miller Merry Manor after a brief illness.
She was born on October 6, 1912 in Seymore, Indiana , daughter of John and Edna (Ginder) Bohall.
She is survived by four children, Beverly (husband, Harold) Dashiell of Noblesville, Carole Loughman of Anderson, David (wife, Rebecca) Hooper of Anderson, and Sherry McCorkle of Pendleton; three sisters, Ruth Tuttle of Fortville, Ann Kendricks of Fortville, and Jean Cross of Greenfield; thirteen grandchildren, a granddaughter she raised Michelle (Hooper) Hanners, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ora M. Hooper, two sons, Richard Neal Hooper, John Dennis Hooper and daughter Terry Jarrell; five sisters, Mary Trueblood, Irene Husted, Laura Short, Elsie Freeman, and Mildred Hibbs; a brother John Bohall.
A special thanks to Miller's Merry Manor nursing staff, and a very special thanks to Betty Jo and Sandy.
Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home at 1010 North Main Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home.
