Sandra Rogers

Sandra "Sandy" Rogers, 63, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Magnolia Springs in Carmel from complications of ALS and FTD.

She was born on December 1, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana to Hobart Carl and Mary (Trueblood) Highwood.

She graduated from Lapel High School in 1971.

Sandy had worked as a custodian at the Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville; Durbin Elementary cafeteria and; O-I Brockway Glass in Lapel.

She was a member of the Prairie Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Benjamin (wife, Leah) Rogers of Noblesville and Michael (wife, Amanda) Rogers of Trafalgar; two step-children, Cari (husband, Robert) Carter of Danville and Paul Rogers of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Devon Rogers, Zoe Rogers, Damon Rogers, Adalyn Riegler, David Rogers, Levi Rogers, and Luke Rogers; her father, Hobart Carl Highwood of Anderson; a sister, Karen Highwood of Anderson; and a brother, Gary Highwood of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband of 33 years, Tom Rogers; a grandson, Desmond Rogers.

Her husband, Tom, may have had free run of heaven for the last two years but he had better get his act together.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville with Pastor Stephen Passmore officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Prairie Baptist Church, Noblesville.
