Samuel Alexander Weist Ii

Samuel Alexander Weist II, 32, of Markleville, passed away on March 21, 2021. He was born on February 19, 1989 in Indianapolis to Samuel A. Weist and Linda A. Metzelaar. Sam was a foreman at Complete Construction for the last six years. He was a member of I.H. Tractor Group. He enjoyed working on antique tractors with his dad. Sam also enjoyed spending time with his daughter and helping his family and friends. Sam is survived by his daughter, Leighton (Keri Seabold) Weist of Anderson; parents, Sam (Racheal) Weist 1st of Markleville & Linda (James) Norton of Underwood; siblings, Anna (John) Weist, Abby Weist, & Jessie Norton; step sisters, Ashley McCoy & Shelbi Mathews; step brother, Tyler Hough; grandmothers, Betty Weist, Phyllis Metzelaar; uncles, Ben Weist & Don Metzelaar; and several nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Weist and Larry Metzelaar; aunts, Betsy Weist, Jeannie Cate and a cousin, Gary Kidd. Services will be held on Thursday, March 25, at 2:00 pm at Condo & St. Pierre, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN 46186 with Pastor Jack Duckworth officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday. Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
