Samantha 'Nancy' J. Strough

Samantha J. "Nancy" (Stage) Strough, 100, Noblesville, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021, at her Residence in Noblesville surrounded by her loving family.She was born September 17, 1920, in Hancock County, Indiana to Leo Fadely and Mary (Ricks) Fadely.Nancy graduated from Kennard High School in 1938.She retired in 1972 from Firestone in Noblesville .Nancy was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel. She taught elementery through adult classes for over twenty years at the church. She was a member of the DAR, DAC, Lapel Garden Club, Lapel Home Economics Club, Investment Club, Single Womens Card Club. Nancy traveled all over the world, including over twenty mission trips. She was a selfless, loving, giving, servant of Jesus.She is survived by her daughter Jayne (Bob) Seybert of Noblesville; three grandchildren, Tom (Cindy) Burris of Lapel, Amanda (Greg) Mills of Pendleton; and Jennifer (Richard) Brown of Noblesville; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" (Max) Fields of Greenfield; great- grandchildren, Natalie, Shaddai, Hannah, Matthew, Caleb, Samuel, Noah, Nathan, Joshua, Layah, Bethany, and Josiah; and two great-great grandchildren. Nancy was also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchilden, and many nieces and nephews.Samantha was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, William Stage, and Lloyd Strough; a brother, Farrell Fadely; and a sister, Evelyn Holmes.A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 217 East 7th Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Susan Hobson officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, IndianaVisitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 N.
