Ryan Howard Warner of Anderson, Indiana passed away on June 3rd, 2019. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 1st, 1993 to the parents of Steve and Lynn Warner. For all those who knew Ryan, the news of his death does not seem possible at the young age of 26. Ryan’s contagious laugh, fearlessness, sense of adventure, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved are just a few of his amazing qualities. He lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger, and could somehow turn any ordinary event into a lasting memory. Ryan never hesitated to lend a helping hand, even if it meant multiple hours of physical labor. Ryan found joy in an inspiring number of activities. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed to fish, hunt, hike, boat, ski, wake board, and snow board. He loved hands on projects, woodworking, stone carving, and watching documentaries. Wrestling was a passion throughout middle school and high school, and Ryan served as one of Highland/Anderson’s team captains during his senior season. After high school, Ryan attended Purdue University, where he became a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Construction Management in 2016. Ryan was working on the construction of a power plant in Johnstown, PA for Kiewit Industrial Corporation. Ryan is survived by his parents Steve and Lynn Warner of Anderson; sister Rachel and her fiancé Josh Valenti of Ferndale, MI; grandmother Annette Warner of St. Cloud, MN; Uncle Allen (Becky) Warner of Tuscola, TX; Uncle Tony Warner Jr. of St. Cloud, MN. He also has two cousins from St. Cloud, MN Heather and Shane Warner, and two cousins in Tuscola, TX Teresa (Tony) Clark and Eric Starbuck. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents Tony Warner Sr.; Ted and Betty Szymczyk; and his uncle, Ted Szymczyk Jr. all of South Bend, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert Sell officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday with a Rosary Service at 5:30 P.M. at Brown Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
