Ruth Robinette-Campbell, 94, of Anderson, passed away on October 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 20, 1924 in Anderson to the late Newton and Edna (Clem) McUne. She retired from J.C. Penny after 21 years of service. She was a past member of Grace Baptist Church, where she remained active with the Keenagers. She is a current member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson. She loved her family. She was a wonderful gardener and enjoyed cooking for everyone. Ruth is survived by her children, Bill Robinette of Davenport, Florida, Sharon (Gene) Pittsenbarger of Anderson, Frank (Julie) Robinette of Shrevesport, Louisana; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Robinette; second husband, William Campbell; son, John Robinette; daughter, Sandra Box; grandson, Craig Robinette; daughter in-law, Bonnie Robinette, and several brothers and sisters. Services for Ruth will be on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
