Ruth Ann Johnson

Ruth Ann Johnson, 86, of Anderson, passed away on April 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born on November 6, 1932 in Switzerland County to the late Walter and Dora (Miles) Lee. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Lady Elks. She enjoyed water aerobics at the White River Fitness Center, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Don Johnson of Anderson; sons, Richard (Glenda) Johnson of Anderson, Terry (Stacey) Johnson of Melbourne, Florida; daughter in-laws, Paula Johnson and Linda Johnson; grandchildren, Cory (Donna) Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Seth Johnson, Luke Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Audrey Johnson, Daniel Johnson; great grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Macy Mullis, and her special pet companion, Lexi. Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Johnson; sisters, Eleanor, Virginia, Elizabeth; brothers, Paul, David, and Gerald. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
