Russell O. Pick, 91, of Anderson passed away May 8, 2015 at his family’s residence after an extended illness.
He was born in Chicago, IL on January 18, 1924, to the late Otto and Lillian (Raquet) Pick.
Russell served his country during World War II in the US Army doing tours in the Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea and the Phillipine Liberation.
He worked as a lead cable technician for Cablevision and as Fire Chief for the Crystal River Fire Department in Citrus County, FL.
Russell is survived by his children, Brenda Granda, Michael Pick, Scott, Pick, Brian Pick, Pamela Pick and Paula Pick; many grandchildren including, Ryan Allen and Scott Titus; many great-
grandchildren including, Nevaeh Allen and Matthew Allen; brother James Pick; niece, Nora Souharada; and nephew, Robert Hirsch.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Ronald Pick and Bobby Pick.
Military Honors will be performed at Marion National Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2015
