Rupert A. "Bud" Addison, 81, Lapel, passed away Friday, October 29, 2004, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following an extended illness.
He was born on July 5, 1923, in Ault, Colorado to Thurman and Mildred (Murray) Addison. He retired in 1981 from Western Electric after 31 years of employment. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the Lapel Optimist Club. He is survived by two sisters, Charlotte Richwine of Noblesville, and Dorcas (husband, Enos) Mullet of Lapel; one sister-in-law, Thelma Addison of Chesterfield; one niece, Linda (husband, Lee) Klotz; four nephews, John (wife, Becky) Addison, Tony (wife, Karen) Mullet, George Richwine, and Greg Richwine; one great-nephew, Jeremiah Mullet (friend, Connie Hinshaw); and several friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Max J. Addison. Private family graveside services will be held Monday at the Asbury Cemetery in Morristown with the Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 606, Lapel, Indiana 46051 or the Lapel Optimist Youth Football League, P. O. Box 696, Lapel, Indiana 46051
