Ruby Lee Tegge, 90, entered her heavenly home on October 10, 2014 at Estelles House in Weirsdale, Fl. after an extended illness.
She was born on November 30, 1923 in Tampa, FL and married the love of her life, Joseph Tegge on November 1, 1941.
Ruby Lee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a Christian and loved the Lord throughout her life and lived according to his word.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Larry (Melva) Tegge of Middletown, Ron (Pam) Tegge of Swannanoa, N.C. and Joe Peace (Karen) Tegge of Weirsdale, FL; grandchildren, Julie (Randy) Pursley of Middletown, Jill(Todd) Harman of Middletown, Maria (Freddie) James of Canton, N.C. Jennifer (Sean) Whitmoyer of Middletown, Ron C. Tegge of South Bend and Joe Tegge of Asheville, N.C.; great grandchildren, Sydnee Kirby, Chloe Harman, Sharaden Kirby, Ryder Pursley all of Middletown, Taylor Tegge-Wiley of Nashville, TN and Zailey Tegge of Asheville, N.C. She is also survived by her special sister-in-law, Norma Jean Roemer and niece Veronica Laughlin and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Tegge; parents, Noble Clark and Ruby Clark Farley and brothers, Col. James Clark and Lee Miles Clark.
Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 in the chapel at Maplewood Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating.
