Ruby Hutchinson

Ruby Hutchinson, 89, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 1, 1935, in Anderson, Ruby was the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Knotts) Barker.

For many years, Ruby dedicated herself to her work at Community Hospital of Anderson in the housekeeping department, where she made lasting friendships and touched many lives. After retirement, she found joy in tending to her beautiful flower garden, spending time outdoors, and creating lasting memories while camping and fishing with her family.

She is survived by her spouse, Edward David Hutchinson, Sr.; Children, Gary (spouse, Cindy) Wechsler, Tammy (spouse, Garry) Stutzman, and Denny Smith; One sister, Bonnie; One brother, Dennis; Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Son, Michael Zion, and Sister, Geraldine.

Visitation for family and friends will take place from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.

Cremation will take place following visitation.
