Rosemary Sears

Rosemary Byer Berry Sears, 91, Lapel, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Hospice House of Citrus and Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL following an extended illness.
She was born on February 27, 1926, in Anderson to Forest and Julia (Thorn) Smith.
Rosemary was graduated from Lapel High School in 1944.
She worked as a beauty operator from her home in Greenfield. She also ran the Pioneer House antique and gift shop in Greenfield.
Rosemary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel. She enjoyed painting and quilting.
She is survived by three children, Gary A. Byer of Citrus Springs, FL, Jane A. (husband, Steve) Cook of Southport, and Ron (wife, Ronda) Byer of Leslie, AR; six grandchildren, Gretchen Nichols, Julie Woodside, Sarah Richardson, Melissa Nauert, Stephanie Martin, and Chase Byer; three great-grandsons; and one sister, Patricia Dyer of Fortville.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Floyd Byer, Millard Berry, and Herb Sears; one brother, Henry Smith; and five sisters, Ruth Bennett, Frances Horner, Mollie Johnson, Maxine Pearson, and Violet Tomey.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Anderson with Pastor Dewey Miller officiating.
