Ronald “Mover” Lee Brown, 75, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was born February 13, 1941, in Anderson to the late, Thomas & Delore (Stoops) Brown. Ronald retired from Delco-Remy and had been a barber for 54 years. He was a member of Tri-County Christian Church. He had been a past member of a Masonic Lodge and of the Scottish Rite. He was an avid bowler, having been a member of the Anderson Bowling Association for over 60 years, and was in the Anderson Bowling Hall of Fame. Ronald loved golf, fishing, and was an avid photographer. Ronald is survived by his son, Stan (wife, Carolyn) Brown of Anderson; daughter, Carolyn Brown of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Andrew T. Brown and Gabrielle L. Brown; brother, David Brown of Arizona; great grandchildren, Hylah & Howsten; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern L. (Stanley) Brown; and brothers, Steve & Donnie Brown. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 Tuesday, September 20, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
