Ronald Edgerly, 80, Noblesville, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at his home following an extended illness. He was born on January 25, 1931, in Six Lakes, Michigan to Marshall and Thelma (Wilson) Edgerly. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1949 and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Ron was co-founder of Noble Industries, a metal fabricating company in Noblesville he had been a life-long iron worker. He later was owner of Reliable Fabricating and Fab Tech both in Noblesville. He was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in rural Noblesville and he belonged to the Indiana Inventor's Club. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wanetta (Harkness) Edgerly; three children, Nancy (husband, Kelly) Wiseman of Anderson, Kathy (husband, Richard) Barker of Noblesville, and Frank (wife, Kathy) Edgerly of Indianapolis; six grandsons, Luke (wife, Brittany) Wiseman, Nick (wife, Brittany) Wiseman, Lt. Col. Robert (wife, Debbie) Barker, Andrew (wife, Bridgette) Barker, Joseph (wife, Krista) Barker, and David Edgerly; seven great-grandchildren, Reid Wiseman, Brooke and Blake Barker, Eli and Anna Barker, and Jacob and Benjamin Barker; and one brother, Gaylord Edgerly of Charlotte, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday, January 2, 2012, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Noblesville with Pastor Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday, January 2, 2012, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 11818 East State Road 32, Noblesville.
