Ronald D. Milburn

Ronald D. Milburn, 68, Markleville, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie following a period of declining health.
He was born on May 28, 1941, in Lapel, Indiana to John and Leona (Dudley) Milburn.
Ronald retired in 2000 from Allegheny Ludlum in New Castle after 20 years of employment.
He was a member of the New Beginnings United Methodist Church in Markleville and he volunteered at the Henry County Historical Society
He is survived by two children, John (wife, Kristy) Milburn of Greenfield, and Tamara (husband, Tom) Majors of New Castle; five grandchildren, Wesley Byrd, Nathan Majors, Lauren Majors, TJ Majors, and Jo Majors; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Sandy (husband, Bob) Miller of Lapel; and a nephew, Rob (wife, Ann) Miller of Lapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Brian Byrd; and his ex-wife, Maryann Milburn.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, April 16, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
