Ronald Benjamin Shroyer, Sr.

Ronald Benjamin Shroyer, Sr. 49, of Anderson passed away on June 4, 2022, at his residence in Anderson.
"Big Ben" was born on September 8, 1972, in Muncie, Indiana to Ronald Shroyer and Shirley (Pittsford) Goodman.
He graduated from Lapel High School in 1990. He started his career as a plumber in the plumbing industry. Later in life, he changed careers and was a heavy equipment operator for Local Union 103.
"Big Ben" was involved in sports as a child in Lapel and was a varsity wrestler. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing pool.
He is survived by his mother and children, Benjamin (Morgan) Shroyer of Pendleton, Courtney (Christian) Crampton of Avon, Brandon (Jessica) Shroyer of Tipton, and Christopher (McKenzie) Shroyer of Yorktown; one sister, Jennifer (Dennis) Schible of Anderson; and seven grandchildren.
"Big Ben" was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 7:00pm at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051, with Pastor Andy Cole officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Daybreak Community Church.
