Roland Schepper

July 12, 1928 — December 20, 2014

Roland D. Schepper, 86, of Anderson, passed away December 20, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born on July 12, 1928 to the late William and Sybil (Sutton) Schepper in Anderson and has lived in Anderson all of his life. He retired from J.M. McCormick in 2000.

Roland was an avid golfer and member of Anderson Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara (Parisi) Schepper of Anderson; four children, Jeffrey (wife, Julie) Schepper of Greenwood, Barry (wife, Angela) Schepper of New Palestine, Pam (husband, Kerry) Nay of Indianapolis and David Jay (wife, Sue) Schepper of Anderson; four grandchildren, Justin Schepper, Alysia (husband, Benoit) Coulmont, Rachel (husband, Bill) Massingill and Jason Schepper; and four great grandchildren; his brother, Jack (wife, Donna) Schepper of Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Florence Schepper.

A Visitation and Celebration of Roland’s Life will be 4:30-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
