Roger L. Shelton

Roger L. Shelton, 54, of Anderson, passed away March 6, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness
He was born June 5, 1960, in Anderson, to Ray and Sharon (McCoppin) Shelton.
He was self employed as a tree trimmer and a heating and cooling repairman. He was a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Justina “Tina” Jordan-Shelton of Anderson; aunts, Zella Forrester of Anderson, Elva Hahnert of Logansport; uncle, Charles B. Shelton of N.C.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Harney; brother, Robert Shelton; aunts, Grace Mattingly and Paula McCoppin; and an uncle, Fred Shelton

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Forrest Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 266.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
