Robin A. Rinker

Robin A. Rinker, 57, Anderson, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on February 2, 1954, in Madison County, Indiana to William and Frances (Purdy) Jarvis. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, George E. Rinker; three children, MaDonna Running Horse of Winner, SD, Christine Rinker of Clearfield, SD, and Michael Rinker of Sioux Falls, SD; eleven grandchildren, Seth Rinker, Matt, Zach, and George Eagle Hawk, Justin and John Scruggs, Caleb Terry, Kody, Noah, Jakob, and Elijah Rinker; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Cherry Levell of Anderson, Pam Turner of Indianapolis, Debbie Sheward of Anderson, and Wendy Jarvis of California; one brother, Jeff Jarvis of California; and a close family friend, Jack Williams of Pendleton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph Rinker; a brother, Billy Jarvis; and an aunt and uncle, Jean and Max Jarvis. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2012, in Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
