Roberta Mae Ellis

Roberta Mae Ellis, 91, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.  Roberta was born on December 20, 1931, in Lafayette, IN to the late Earl and Wanda (Star) Berkebile. In 1965, Roberta married the love of her life the late Roy Ellis.

She enjoyed many things in her life including cooking, fishing, camping, sewing, and crocheting.  She would also attend church at Maple Grove Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Steven Schmink; daughters, Vera Davis, Donnieta Jordan, Ardena Threet, Deborah Ellis, and Christina (Dave Ruth) Ellis; sister, Addie Wetsel; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Ellis; parents, Earl and Wanda Berkebile; brother, Ambrose Berkebile; and sister Uela Wells.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory.
