Robert James Spaeth Jr.

Robert James Spaeth Jr., 55, of Chesterfield, Indiana, passed away March 17, 2025, at his residence. He was born on July 17, 1969, in Rahway, New Jersey to Robert Spaeth, Sr. & Kathleen (Glass) Slonaker.

He served his country with the United States Air Force. Robert was a Field Technician with Oscar Larson Services. He enjoyed traveling, Notre Dame Football, model airplanes, military planes and soccer. He enjoyed collecting shotglasses and playing golf.

Robert loved spending time with his family. He had a tradition of traveling with his wife to historical sites, going to the Little 500 with his son, and the Dayton air show with his daughter.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jennifer Roberts Spaeth; daughter, Danielle Spaeth; son, Damon Spaeth; siblings, James (Ashley) Spaeth, Steven (Kym) Spaeth, Michael Spaeth, Daniel (Jasmine) Slonaker, Jr. and Stephanie (Wayne) Bucci; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jerry Spaeth; step-father, Daniel Slonaker, Sr.; grandparents, John and Helen Glass; step-mother, Helen Spaeth; uncle, Johnny Glass, Jr.; nephew, Daniel Slonaker,III; and cousin, Gene Norris.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 24, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 2-6pm at the funeral home.
