It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Moghadam who left us peacefully on March 6, 2024, at 6:37 PM, in the comforting presence of his brother, Richard Moghadam, at his home in Anderson, Indiana.
Born on June 8, 1967, in California, Robert's life was a testament to his passion, resilience, and love for his obsession with exotic automobiles. He dedicated his career to the car wholesaling business, where he was not only recognized for his keen eye for exotic vehicles, but also revered as the visionary owner of Powerhouse Motorsports, an independent auto brokerage. Robert's legacy in the automotive industry will be remembered by many who had the privilege to work alongside him and those who admired his business.
Robert fought a courageous battle with cancer, displaying immense strength and determination throughout. He leaves behind a loving family; his daughter, Alexis Fontenot; his mother, Brenda Moghadam; siblings, Dixie Pinales, Hope Moghadam and Richard Moghadam; sister-in-law, Jennifer Collier Moghadam; brother-in-law, Emmanuel Pinales; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Robert's kindness, generosity and bright spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be profoundly missed, but fondly remembered for the indelible mark he left on our hearts. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life, knowing that his legacy of love, strength and kindness will continue to inspire us.
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Robert Moghadam at Restoration Church, 1217 Meridian Street, Anderson, Indiana 46016, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The service will be followed by a reception where friends and family can share memories and honor Robert's legacy together. In fact, the plight of the homeless and those struggling with addiction represents a profound challenge that Robert struggled with. This moment in time offers us a unique opportunity to deepen our awareness and understanding of these critical issues. Instead of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to his memorial fund at Restoration Church, where funds can be used to help those battling addiction and homelessness.
