Robert L. Turner

Robert L. Turner, 77, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Community Hospital of Anderson following an extended illness.He was born October 26, 1944, in Anderson to Harry Turner and Florence (Deep) Scott.Robert graduated from Lapel High School in 1964.He retired from Delphi, division of General Motors after 39 years.Robert was a member of Killbuck Golf Club for many years, where he enjoyed golfing. He met each Monday with his golfing buddies to share all their favorite memories. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife of 56 years Linda Turner of Anderson; two sons, Brent Turner of Greenfield, and Dale (Suzanne) Turner of Kouts, Indiana; sister, Linda "Sue" Dilk of Daleville; grandchildren, Brent (Brooklyn) Turner Jr., Bailie Turner, Braxton Turner, Bo Turner, Emily Darr, Jackson Turner, Joshua Darr, Gabriel Turner, and Joseph Turner; great-grandchildren, Bentlee, Zayne, and Ava Turner. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.Robert was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Turner and Larry Turner; three sisters, Carolyn Willis, Gloria Garrett, and Nancy Shelton.A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with William Smalley officiating.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
