Robert L. Gray

Robert L. Gray, 76, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis after a sudden illness

He was born July 26, 1938, in Anderson, the son of the late Lawrence D. and Mary (White) Gray. Robert was a graduate of Anderson High School, Class of 1956.

He married Rieta Ehman on June 22, 1958 at Central Christian Church in Anderson and together they raised their family. Robert worked as a supervisor for Container Corporation in Anderson and then retired as a supervisor for Bell Fiber in Marion.

In addition to his beloved, Rieta, he is survived by his three sons, Bradley (Karen) Gray of Simi Valley, CA, Rodney Gray of Indianapolis and Alex (Katie) Gray of Zionsville; grandchildren, Reagan Gray and Zachary Gray; step-grandchildren, Calli (significant other, Jason Freyer) Jenkins, Kendra (Bronson) Hayes and Robert Lutes; step-great-grandson, Aiden Freyer; brother, Michael Gray; aunts Lavona Gray and Lucille Coulter; and his cousins in Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Chaplain Rob Mifflin officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00pm, Monday at the funeral home.
