Robert L. “Bob” Ryle, 60, of Bloomington, Indiana and former Chesterfield and Alexandria resident passed away October 31, 2017 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.He was born November 15, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana.Bob was roofer for Blackmore and Buckner Roofing for 14 years retiring in 2010.He was an avid bowler and was a member of the United States Bowling Congress.Bob honorably and proudly served his country in the US Navy from April 9, 1974 to October 30, 1984.Survivors include his wife, Teresa A. (Alford) Ryle whom he married on April 22, 1989; children, Amy (partner, Samantha Axsom) Bigelow of Bloomington, Vanessa (husband, Taurean) Trask of Bloomington, Molly (companion, Spencer Curry) Rhodus of Chesterfield, Robert Jason Ryle of Anderson and Robert John Ryle of Anderson; siblings, Faye (husband, Steve) Randolph of Anderson and Kenneth “Butch” (wife, Cassandra) Ryle of Daleville; seven grandchildren; several nieces and several nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lou Ryle; and his parents-in-law, Norman E. and Phyllis Joan Alford.Services at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Todd Faulkner officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton.Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 W.
