Robert C. Kallner, 93, of Anderson passed away May 5, 2015 at Miller’s Merry Manor after a brief illness.
He was born in Colfax, IN on November 28, 1921, to the late Clayton and Tinnie Bell Kallner and has lived in Anderson for the past 74 years.
He was a farmer, enjoyed horse racing and retired from Delco Remy where he was a general foreman.
He was a member of Frankton Christian Church, Chesterfield Christian Church, Frankton Masonic Lodge, Frankton Lions Club and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by two daughters, Kay (Dewey) Schwinn of New Castle and Linda (William) Gale of Anderson; five grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Schwinn of Keller, TX; Ronald (Sonia) Schwinn of Frisco, TX; Robert (Valerie) Schwinn of Dayton, OH; Mark (Jennifer) Gale of Denton, TX; and Jeremy (Kristine) Gale of Greenwood, IN; five great grandchildren, Alex Schwinn of Keller, TX; Taylor Schwinn of Frisco, TX; Justin Schwinn of Frisco, TX; Sydney Borutta of Denton, TX; and Aidan Schwinn of Dayton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina J. Kallner.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Ned Clark officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
