Mr. Robert Eugene Tomlinson

Robert “Bob” Eugene Tomlinson, 90, of Pendleton, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was born July 16, 1927, in Indianapolis to the late Zora H. & Lottie Pearl (Scherer) Tomlinson. Bob was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He had owned several gas stations around Indianapolis before he retired from the USPS as a carrier after 35 years. He had also been a school bus driver for Eden and Maxwell schools. He was a member of the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge #723 F. & A.M., as well as the American Legion Post #495. Bob is survived by his wife, Joyce Tomlinson; children, Scott (wife, Joanne) Tomlinson, Pamela Bishop, Janice Tomlinson, Wesley, & Rodney Tomlinson; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children, Russell Tomlinson & Robert “Bobby” Tomlinson, Jr.; siblings, Helen J. Tomlinson, Mary Balzora, Harold Tomlinson, & James Tomlinson. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson.
