Robert Eugene Reeder

Robert Eugene Reeder also know as Bicycle Bob or Scooter Bob, 76, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Rawlins House in Pendleton following an extended illness.

He was born on June 6, 1940, in Elwood, Indiana.

Bob had served for many years as custodian at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel. He was often seen around the surrounding communities on his bicycle or scooter and mowed many lawns.

He is survived by the many members of the Lapel churches who cared for him for many years as well as many friends including Tim Fields.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Reeder.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
