Robert D. Bob Hiday

Robert D. Bob Hiday, 78, Noblesville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following sudden illness.
He was born on July 15, 1930, in Madison County, Indiana to Cecil and Cleo (Robinette) Hiday.
He graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1948 and served in the U. S. Army Signal Corps in the Korean War.
Bob retired in 1995 from the Hamilton County Co-op after 35 years of employment.
He was a member of Prairie Baptist Church where he served on the trustee board for many years
He is survived by two sons, Brent (wife, Donna) Hiday and Bryce Hiday both of Noblesville; two grandsons, Dustin Hiday and David Hiday; one brother, Paul (wife, Wanda) Hiday of Arcadia; three sisters, Bernice Hamel and Minnie Tooley both of Anderson, and Bernadine Hiday of Noblesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife whom he married June 7, 1953, Mary "Kay" (Hazelbaker) Hiday; two brothers, John Hiday and L. Donald Hiday; and three sisters, Velma Stern, Inez House, and Vera Holt.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday, March 27, 2009, at Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville with Rev. Russell Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
