Robert Frank Branscum, 53, of Greenfield, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on August 30th. He was born September 6, 1966 in Greenfield. He graduated from Greenfield Central in 1986, received his QMA certificate from Ivy Tech, and then worked as QMA/CNA at Golden Living Center- Brandywine. He compassionately cared for his residents for 34 years. When not caring for others, Robert loved spending time on his hobby farm. He tremendously loved taking care of his horses, goats, and especially his chickens. He shared his love of animals through 4-H and was a Rabbit Leader for 14 years. When not tending to his animals, he enjoyed travelling, fishing, and was always spending time with family and friends. He intensely loved life and was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend. Robert is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Jo (Shaw) Branscum; daughter & son-in-law, Francie & Matt Skinner of Anchorage, AK; son & daughter-in-law, Adam & Rie Branscum of Tokyo, Japan; mother, Rhoda (Nevels) Branscum; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Branscum; brothers, Roger, Ronnie, & Randall Branscum; and nephew, Scotty Branscum. Services will be at 1:30 Monday, September 14 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson, with Pastors Todd Curtis & John Pate officiating. Burial will follow services at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 until the time of services. Due to COVID masks are required and social distancing should be practiced.
