Robert “Bob” Lee Good, 78, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his home. Bob, a lifelong resident of Anderson, was born on February 8, 1943 to Adrian and Agnes (Cottrell) Good. He married his sweetheart, Nancy Green, on March 9, 1963 in Anderson, IN. Bob had a few different jobs throughout his life. He owned “A. Good Liquor Store” here in Anderson, IN. He drove a school bus for Anderson Community Schools for 42 years and he was a lifelong mechanic. Bob was a member of the Freemason’s and the Shriners. He was a lifetime member and Ambassador of the Jacee’s. He loved racing with his grandson and restoring classic cars, especially Corvettes. Robert will be dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; his children, Kelly (Scott) McCune, Robin (Eric) Elmore-Scott, and Rodney (Trina) Good; his 7 grandchildren; his 9 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Phyllis Hamilton and Sarah (Tom) Burton; and his furbaby, Bruno. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Adriene Lippard. The visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, 46013. The funeral ceremony will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park. For the procession, the family has asked that you all drive your classic cars in honor of Bob. In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be gifted to Shriner Children’s Hospital.
