Robert B. “Bob” Harless

MARKLEVILLE- Robert “Bob” B. Harless, 90, of Markleville passed away, April 9, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.
He was born in Pendleton, Indiana on July 5, 1931 and was a lifelong resident of Pendleton and Markleville.
Bob retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson following almost 50 years of service.
He loved camping and fishing. Bob also enjoyed working on cars and attending auto races.
Survivors include his wife of over 69 years, Laura Mae (Eiler) Harless; children, Susan J. (Darrell) Lane and Robert “Bobby” F. (Teresa) Harless both of Markleville; brother, Gilbert Lee (Linda) Harless of Pendleton; grandchildren, Jimmy Shelley, Karen Shelley, Jeffrey Shelley, Diana Miller, Rhonda Lou Shelley, Todd Gnat, Lisa Brooks, Melissa Dewey, Jason Moon, Sarah Compton, Corey Moon, Matthew Harless, Laura Harless, Michael Harless, Nicholas Harless, Robert Harless and Katelyn Harless; step grandchildren, Bettie Freeman and Brandy Whitehurst; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Nellie (Chambers) Harless; daughters, Rhonda Jo Shelley and Darla J. Moon; grandsons, Steven Shelley and Christopher Harless; and siblings, Donald Harless, Richard Harless and Barbara Jean Stinson.
Services at 2 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson with Pastor Daniel Roseberry officiating. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
