Ricki Earl Herndon

Ricki Earl Herndon, 71, of Anderson passed away on September 22, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1952, in Henry Co., Indiana to the late Jay and Martha (Mann) Herndon. After graduating high school, he faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. Ricki was a member of the VFW in Anderson, IN and was very proud to be a veteran. He loved to socialize with people.

Ricki is survived by his children, Julie Herndon and Ricki John Herndon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ronald Herndon, Lola Mae Bray, Jayneen Smith, Ruth Cox, James “Jim” Herndon, Marilyn Rogers, and Rodney Lee Herndon.

Per Ricki’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ricki’s services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
