Rick S. Harbison, 54, Fishers, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
He was born on October 2, 1964 in Riverside, California to Winfred Harbison and Shirley (Holland) Harbison .
Rick attended Hamilton Southeastern High School and graduated from Vinemont High School in Alabama.
He retired from UPS after 28 years of service and was currently working as the Director of Fleet Operations for Tredroc Tire Services.
Rick was a avid race fan and was involved in many aspects of racing. He enjoyed boating and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Jill Harbison of Fishers; children,Stephanie (Damon) Cooley of Greenville, OH, Lucas Harbison of Fishers; grandson, Jaxon Cooley; a brother, Mick (Nina) Harbison of AL; sister, Sonja (Stuart) Kindig of Fortville. Ricky is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010
North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Pastor Patrick Propst officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel.
