Rick Lee Wise

Rick Lee Wise, 56, of Pendleton, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 after a long courageous battle against cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy (Ward) Wise; sons, Tyler, Evan and Jordan Wise; mother, Nancy (Anderson) Wise; and sister, Connie Bentley. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Wise.

Rick was an amazing husband and father and he valued family above everything else. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and golfing with his family and friends. Rick also invested many years coaching his sons in baseball in the Pendleton Little League and enjoyed watching them play other sports from the stands. He owned and operated May Supply Company in Anderson and enjoyed working with all of the employees every day.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Tracy Moistner officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
