Richard Edward Huffer

Richard Edward Huffer, 67, of Anderson, passed away on January 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1952 in Marion, Indiana to the late William and Marjorie (Forder) Huffer. Richard retired from General Motors after 26 years of service. He was a member of the UAW and enjoyed fixing things and helping people. He is survived by his sons, Jeremy (companion Rachel) Huffer of Indianapolis, Cory Huffer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nicholas Huffer of Anderson; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jonah Huffer; siblings, Susan Smare, Jennifer Huffer, Russell Huffer; ex-wives, Donna Huffer and Lois Franklin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special lifelong friend, Bruce Walker. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, Indiana 46013. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
