Rhonda Bowling

Rhonda Bowling, 70, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away February 1, 2025 from injuries sustained in a house fire.

She was born on January 29, 1955, in Evansville, Indiana to Jesse and Violet (VanBibber) Smith.

Rhonda graduated from Reitz High School in Evansville, Indiana. She retired as a CNA. 

Rhonda enjoyed playing Bingo, Skipbo, and drinking Pepsi. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Tiffany Smith of Anderson, Timmothy Smith of Anderson, and Rodney (Polly) Thomas of Anderson; life partner, Joe Robinson Jr. of Anderson; step daughter, Jonita Robinson; siblings; Tom (Deanna) Smith of Evansville, Becky (Steve) Bellinger of Freemont, IN, Joe Smith of Evansville, Diane Lynch of Boonville, IN; grandchildren, Daireus (Rose), Bennie (Jordyn), Ro Jaya, Gerard (Tiny Man), Jeremy, Josh, Zachary, Kaitlyn, and Alexa; step grandchildren, Kamilah, and Demareyon Robinson; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Cremation has been chosen. Services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013.
