Rex Alan Hubble

Rex Alan Hubble, 60, passed away July 8, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born December 24, 1954 in Anderson, the son of Roscoe Eugene and Betty Louise (Dickerson) Hubble and lived here his entire life. He retired from General Motors in Marion in 2006 after 27 years of employment.

Rex enjoyed fixing cars, camping, golf, hunting, but mostly fishing, and like any true fisherman, he also relished telling tall-tales. He was also a space aficionado.

He is survived by his fianc�, Cynthia Lanier of Anderson; mother, Betty Hubble; children, Jeremy Hubble of Anderson and Lori (Mark) Watson of Farmland; grandchildren, Marly, Emalyn and Anna Watson; brothers, Dave (Pam) Hubble, Dan (Donna) Hubble, Rick (Janice) Hubble and Ed (Dawn) Hubble; and several nieces and nephews.

Rex was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe “Gene” Hubble.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemtery.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
