Rebecca A. "Becky" Burke, 92, of Lapel, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family, following an extended illness.She was born May 9, 1929, in Anderson, Indiana to James Webb and Lema (Austin) Webb.Becky attended Anderson Community Schools and graduated from APEX Beauty College.She retired owning and operating Beckys Beauty Shop in Anderson after 40 years.Becky enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and neighbors.She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Butch) Benzenbauer of Anderson; grandchildren, Casey (Renee) Benzenbauer, Amy (Benzenbauer) Lacy of Anderson; one great granddaughter, Abigail "Abi" Benzenbauer. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially close to Lana (Burke) Beaudoin; and several special friends and neighbors.Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lester Burke; sister Sarah Baugh; brothers, Bob Webb; Joe Webb; and a grandson in law Sim Lacy.A private graveside service will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Anderson, Indiana.
