Raymond L. Jones

Raymond L. Jones, 74, of Anderson, passed away, July 28, 2020 in Bremen following an extended illness. Raymond was born September 2, 1945, in Quenimo, KS, to the late William and Wahnita Jones and has lived in Anderson since childhood. He was a happy hard working provider for his family. As a loving husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed the time he could spend with his family. Raymond was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church for many years, serving in several ministries. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, whistling, and writing his own music. Raymond is survived by his wife Barbara Jones; his daughter, Raechelle (Clark) Harless; granddaughter, Kennedy Harless; brothers, Ronnie (Debbie) Jones, and Tommy (Kathy) Jones; a sister, Rozetta (Jerry) Prisoc; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Ernest, James, and Carl Jones; sisters, Dora Talley and Marlene DonDineau. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Gary Woodring and Pastor Clark Harless officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-5 pm on Sunday. Mask will be required in accordance with the current state mandate with social distancing. Memorial contributions may be made to Landmark Baptist Church.
