Randy Leon Turner

Randy Leon Turner, 58, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 12, 2021. He was born on May 13, 1963 in Anderson to late William Leon and Anna Blanch Turner. Randy graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1981 and was a 2007 graduate of Concordia University. He was employed at the Hopewell Center in Anderson. He was a longtime member of Gospel Light Chapel in Anderson where he played bass guitar for the worship team. Randy loved spending time with family, friends and his grandpets. He was an avid photographer and loved music. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rhonda (Wood) Turner of Anderson; sons, Christopher (Hannah) Turner of Bedford, Kentucky, Zachary (Alexis) Turner of Anderson; sister, Ann Willhoite and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Francis Turner. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 6:00 pm at New Life Nazarene Church, 3615 Raible Ave, Anderson, IN 46011 with Rev. Loyce Webb officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Gospel Light Chapel, 219 Gilmore Rd, Anderson, IN 46016.
